Yesterday's Meet and Greet was a huge success. So many people turned out to hear where I stand on issues and to also express their concerns and what they believe are election issues. What I heard was that taxes are once again an issue. I am hearing that our residents are demanding value for their dollars!

I always find in interesting how many varied concerns residents have. Such as too many magpies or concern with the timing of the lights on Boudreau. All are small and basic annoyances that could very easily be dealt with. We just need improved communication between city hall and the residents. I love talking to the people. This process is fantastic. If elected I plan to continue this type of dialogue. Whether it is monthly coffee sessions or public gatherings at city hall to talk to staff and council.
