I recently read a blog from Andy Michaelson which I found very interesting and agreed with a lot of what he said. He talked about the ever present issue of taxes during municipal elections. There is always a call to reduce taxes, while no one has a plan of how to do this and what services should be cut.

I also support what he said about candidates understanding procedures and protocols under the municipal government act.
